Alison Soens (Kasleberry), Santa Barbara Show

Alison was born in Massapequa park NY in 1982 and survived the changing of the seasons and the cold winters until she was eight when her family moved to Flagler Beach, Florida. Alison spent many days since frolicking in the waters off the Florida coast, surfing and soaking in the area's beauty. Alison studies graphic design and fine art at Flagler College in St. Augustine Florida. After graduating, she moved to Ventura, California. She reflects a rarely seen a twist of style on life as she sees it. She is inspired by animals and the beauty of all life on earth. She paints on found materials, a way of reusing the unwanted waste of others. All of her paintings are one-of-a-kind, much like she is.
