Scott Soens, Santa Barbara show

Raised and educated on the east coast Scott Soens journeyed west in 1998 to start a career in photography and cinematography. His work has been seen in Outside, Huck, and Stab magazines, along with Surfer, Surfing, and The Surfers Journal. In 2001 his skateboarding documentary "Hallowed Ground" won the ESPN action sports award for best sports film. Scott has won the Surfer poll award for best cinematography in 2001 (Shelter), 2006 (Secret Machine), and 2009 (The Present).

Scott's clients include Patagonia Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy, and Globe. Scott has shot numerous album covers for musicians including Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, G-Love, and Donavon Frankenreiter.   Scott's love of life, the planet, the ocean, and all of their inhabitants is uniquely evident in his work.
